NHK Automotive Components India Pvt. Ltd. formerly termed as Bombay Company Ltd. (BCL Springs) which established in 1985 by colluding with NHK Spring Company Ltd. (Japan) to primarily manufacture cold-coiled precision springs. Its commercial production was initiated in the year 1987. To meet the changing automotive sector's technical demands, BCL Springs continued to develop various varieties of springs and extended its product family.

Subsequently, BCL Springs merged with The Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation Ltd. (BBTCL) in 1992 to follow other business exigencies. BBTCL successfully organized to set up another plant in Waluj, Aurangabad which was initially into Suspension springs.

Irrevocably BCL was formally acquired by NHK Spring Company Ltd. in the year 2011 by taking comprehensive possession which is now known as ‘NHK Automotive Components India Pvt. Ltd.’ Today NACI is the leading tier 1 supplier of valve springs & tier 2 supplier of clutch & suspension springs for OEs.

NHK Automotive Components India Pvt Ltd, later in 2016, set up a new facility in Shendra, 5 Star Industrial Area, Aurangabad with a 64,000 SqMeter area in order to bring all plants of Aurangabad under one roof.
